ARTIST BIO

Max Buckland is a Somerset artist specialising in fine art, but also working in cartoon and digital. Available for personal portraits, animal/ pet portraits, landscapes, scenery, vehicles and more, commissions are undertaken across a range of disciplines, genres and styles. Max's latest commission was a portrait of Ditcheat’s 'Famous Five' Somerset trained racehorses (limited edition prints available).

For Max, art has always been a passion. Starting at a young age, Max continues to study art and graphic design, having had personal tuition from Beano artist, Brian Walker. Over the last 20 years as a successful self-employed tattoo artist, Max has always accepted fine art commissions, and this has taken centre-stage in recent years. All commissions are considered, with nature and animals being a particular specialism.
